History

Founded by hobbyist game designer in 2002 to create custom StarCraft maps and RPG Maker games, Omega Intertainment was reborn in 2022 to bring the dream of game development back to life. As long-term fans of the 16- and 32-bit era of Japanese RPGs, we knew immediately we wanted to return to our earliest dreams of inspiration and storytelling while still bringing our own designs and interests to the genre. Tower Song was born of that legacy.

Features

  • Challenging turn-based combat. Enemies are deadly and creative, so players will have to savvy and innovative to triumph. To better their chances, players can customize their party with skill mods, weapon trees, and unique accessories. The goal is varied and engaging combat without random encounters or grinding.

  • Different POV Characters. Players can choose from four different characters and classes for their journey to suit their gameplay style, in addition to teaming up with a pair of powerful allies. To better enable that choice, players will experience a prologue and sample all four potential POV characters before making their choice.

  • Character-Focused Story. Tower Song is set in an epic world but the tale is intimate and character-focused. Of course the world is in peril, like any classic RPG, but we know it’s always the characters that make the story worth it.

  • Retro Art Styles. Battles feature HD, still-image enemies like the classic dungeon crawlers, while exploration sees players wander through beautifully imagined pixel-art worlds with their party. The party is visible as you explore and active in cut-scenes.
